That feeling that no matter how long you've walked literally or in another sense. Body and mind tired. Do you stop and rest or push forward? Does it depend on what the goal is?
When we are young we are told to finish what we start. If you dream for something go for it. Or never give up. If the goal is not real or what we thought was the goal turned out to be some horrible place then it turns into a lesson.
Those lessons defining who we are but also sometimes putting up walls around ourselves. Creating cynicism, numbness, and blindness to beauty that is out there. We take these moment to reflect to judge ourselves more critically and ask why did we end up putting ourselves in the situation in the first place.
Was it because we thought we could make the destination something different? Did we ignore what was there and only look to what we wanted to see or were we drawn in the ugliness hidden?
